Product Description
This HPS Performance Air Intake Kit serves an enhanced replacement for the 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed Miata (Left Hand Drive) stock intake tube and airbox, designed to boost your MSM power without needing to adjust the ECU. The high-flow performance air filter maximizes the air volume entering the intake system, while the 2.5" aluminum mandrel-bent tube creates a smoother path for the air to travel to the engine, ultimately optimizing its output. This optimization is proven with dyno gains of 9.5 horsepower and 9.1 lb-ft. of torque.
The custom-engineered heat shield blocks out radiant heat from the engine, allowing the intake to draw in cool air from the stock air vent. The kit is installed using an HPS high-temperature, high-pressure-resistant 3-ply silicone reducing coupler, 100% stainless steel embossed hose clamps, and high-quality hardware, ensuring durability regardless of performance demand. Requiring only basic hand tools and without the need for any additional modifications, this product is made for a simple bolt-on installation.
