Product Description

The HPS Wrinkle Red Upper Intercooler Pipe (UICP) is a high-performance upgrade designed as a direct replacement for the factory pipe in the Lancer EVO X. Constructed from lightweight 2.5"� mandrel-bent aluminum, it features a smooth one-piece design with a non-turbulent 2"� to 2.5"� transition, enhancing airflow for better mid-range performance without the need for ECU tuning. The bead-rolled pipe ends securely hold couplers in place, preventing them from popping off under high boost pressure. The included 4-ply reinforced silicone hoses can handle over 50 psi of boost and replace factory rubber couplers, which are prone to cracking or failure over time. This upgrade smooths and optimizes airflow, ensuring improved reliability and consistent performance.

HPS also includes durable stainless steel T-bolt clamps and an easy-to-follow installation manual with step-by-step instructions and clear pictures. The mandrel-bent aluminum piping eliminates the restrictions of stock tubing, while the silicone hoses offer superior durability under extreme conditions. Installation requires no modifications, and the upgrade does not trigger a CEL light, making it a seamless enhancement for performance enthusiasts.
