Fitment Note: This kit fits all AWD non-hybrid Ford Explorer trims from 2020 through 2026, covering both the 2.3L EcoBoost 4-cylinder and the 3.0L V6 engine configurations. It does not fit FWD Explorer models or any Explorer Hybrid variant. Lowering height may vary slightly depending on engine configuration and factory option package. An alignment is required after installation. Sold as a complete set of 4 springs.

The 51632 drops the front of the Explorer about 1.6 inches and the rear about 1.75 inches, which is enough to eliminate most of the fender gap and meaningfully lower the center of gravity without going so low that the SUV becomes impractical on real roads. Actual drop varies a bit depending on engine configuration and which factory options you have, so treat those numbers as the average rather than a guarantee. These work with the factory dampers, though if your Explorer has any real mileage on it, the factory shocks are already in their wear range and a stiffer spring rate will expose that. If the ride feels choppy or unsettled after the springs go in, the shocks are usually the reason. An alignment is required after installation regardless.
