- BMW 335i E90 Sedan RWD N54 3.0L (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011) Race Spring (50490-88) only, Sport Spring (50490) does not fit 335i
- Note: RWD only. Does not fit xDrive AWD models, which require H&R part number 50494
- Note: Vehicles with factory M-Technik or Sport Package suspension may experience a reduced drop due to stiffer OEM spring rates
Fitment Note: This listing covers the Sport Spring (50490) and Race Spring (50490-88) for RWD E90 3 Series sedans. The Sport Spring fits the 325i, 328i, and 330i only. The Race Spring (50490-88) fits all RWD E90 sedans including the 335i. If you have a 335i and want the Sport drop rather than the Race drop, the correct spring is H&R part number 50490-4, which is a separate listing. xDrive AWD models require H&R 50494 and are not covered here. Cars with factory M-Technik or Sport Package suspension will see a reduced drop compared to standard suspension cars. An alignment is required after installation. Sold as a complete set of 4 springs.

Pairs well with:
- Bilstein B8 Performance Plus Shocks for BMW 330i (2006) E90 The B8 Performance Plus is Bilstein's shock specifically valved for use with aftermarket lowering springs, and this listing covers the exact same 2006 E90 330i. Since most 2006 E90 dampers are well past their service life, pairing new springs with properly valved shocks gives you a matched setup rather than running stiffer springs against worn factory dampers.

The OEM part numbers above are provided as reference for the standard suspension 2006 E90 325i and 330i RWD. M-Technik and Sport Package equipped cars use different OEM spring part numbers with stiffer rates. Confirm your specific factory spring numbers using your VIN at a BMW dealer or via realoem.com. The H&R 50490 and 50490-88 replace all four corner springs as a matched set.
Product Description
H&R Sport Springs offer superb ride quality and are H&R's number one selling product. These lowering springs offer some of the best ride characteristics of any lowering spring and offer enhanced handling while giving your car just the right amount of lowering to close the fender gap. H&R Sport lowering springs lower the vehicle center of gravity and reduce body roll for incredible handling improvements. H&R Sport springs are progressive rate and work fantastic with aftermarket, factory or performance shocks. On older vehicles we do recommend to upgrade the shocks at the same time.
The 50490 comes in two drop options under the same base part number. The Sport (50490) drops the front 1.3 inches and the rear 1.2 inches, which is the most common choice for a daily driven E90 since it closes the fender gap without going so low that the car becomes impractical. The Race (50490-88) goes further at 2.0 inches front and 1.5 inches rear, which is the most aggressive fixed drop available for the RWD E90 from H&R. If you go Race, get the front camber corrected at the alignment shop after install since that much drop at the front will push camber beyond what a standard alignment can compensate for. Either spring works with the factory dampers, though on a 2006 E90 the factory shocks have a lot of miles behind them by now and pairing new springs with a worn damper is a common reason owners feel disappointed in how the car rides after a spring swap.
