Let's face it - flip-up hood props are a thing of the past. They get in the way when working under your hood and they prevent your hood from opening far enough to allow adequate light in. Our High-Lift Hood Struts are the number 1 solution to both of these issues.
With the use and exposure that a hood strut kit will see on a regular basis, material selection and finishing options are critically important. Our kit includes laser cut and CNC bent brackets that have been coated with a durable wrinkle black powdercoat to prevent any degradation over time. The next key component is the struts themselves. Manufactured in the USA, these are of the highest quality and are used by OEMs around the world. These struts are perfectly valved to match the weight of the BRZ/GR86 hood and feature a quick-release ball and socket with clear zinc plated grade 8.8 hardware.
