The factory rear toe arm on all of these BMW chassis is a fixed-length rubber bushing arm with no way for adjustment at the alignment rack. When the car gets lowered, rear toe shifts, and your alignment shop has nothing to turn to correct it. That is what these are for. The spherical bearing ends replace the OEM rubber bushings with a direct-contact pivot, which means the toe setting you dial in at the alignment shop is the actual toe setting the car runs rather than one that flexes slightly under load. If you are also correcting rear camber at the same time, which you should be on a lowered car, grab the matching Godspeed rear camber arms so your alignment shop can work both axes without fighting any fixed OEM arms.
