Product Description

The Flowmaster 72619 Flow FX is a compact universal 3-inch muffler for custom exhaust builds that use a single inlet and single outlet. Its straight-through perforated core and high-temperature packing give it a deep, mellow tone that is different from a traditional chambered Flowmaster muffler.

The 6-inch round case fits where space is tight, while the 3-inch core keeps the exhaust path open for larger-displacement gas engines and performance street builds. The internal layout is reversible, so an exhaust shop can install it in either direction to suit the available space and pipe routing.

Measuring for a Universal 3-Inch Muffler

Check your available space before ordering. The case is 6 inches round and 14 inches long, while the muffler measures 20 inches overall. You will need a single 3-inch inlet pipe and a single 3-inch outlet pipe to match this muffler.

This is a fabrication part, not a direct-fit replacement. Plan for the correct tubing, hangers, clamps or welding, and an exhaust tip if your build uses one. If your vehicle has dual 3-inch inlets and dual 3-inch outlets, this is not the right muffler.
