The Flowmaster Flow FX Extreme catback gives the 2003-2024 Toyota 4Runner 4.0L V6 a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note without adding a tailpipe behind the rear axle. Its 3-inch mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing and Flow FX muffler create a freer-flowing exhaust path while keeping the install simple with factory hanger locations.
What makes this 4Runner exhaust different is the dump-style exit. Instead of routing a tailpipe over the axle and out the back, the system exits right after the muffler. That keeps more room around the rear axle for off-road use and helps preserve ground clearance and departure angle on a lifted 4Runner.
