Product Description

The Flowmaster cat-back systems for the 1996–1999 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 5.7L are built from durable 16-gauge mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing and feature Flowmaster's 70 Series Big Block II chambered performance muffler. These systems are dyno tuned for performance and designed to provide the deep, powerful exhaust character associated with Flowmaster, while using factory hanger locations and included installation hardware for a straightforward bolt-on installation.  

Choose from dual-outlet systems with polished 3.00-inch stainless-steel tips for Standard Cab/Short Bed or Extended Cab/Short Bed trucks, or the single-side-exit configuration with a 3.00-inch tailpipe and turndown-style outlet. The correct system depends on the truck's cab/bed configuration, wheelbase, and desired exit style: #17468 fits the 117-inch Standard Cab/Short Bed, #17470 fits the 141-inch Extended Cab/Short Bed, while #17287 is the single-exit version for the same 141-inch Extended Cab/Short Bed configuration.
