Fitment Note
This kit fits the second-generation MQB Tiguan through 2024. It lowers the vehicle only and cannot be set at factory ride height. It does not fit the first-generation 2009-2017 Tiguan or the redesigned 2025+ Tiguan. Aftermarket front end links and rear damping extensions are not compatible with this kit.

Product Description
FIVE8 SS Sport coilovers give the 2018-2024 VW Tiguan a lower ride height and a more planted feel without turning it into a harsh crossover. The mono-tube dampers and matched 8K front and 5K rear springs help reduce the extra body movement that comes with the factory suspension while keeping the kit simple to live with every day.
Ride height is fully adjustable, with an approximate 1 to 3-inch drop from stock. Damping is fixed, so there are no knobs to dial in or settings to second guess. Front camber plates are included for the alignment work that comes with lowering a Tiguan, and the kit fits both FWD and 4Motion AWD models on the MQB AD1 platform.
Setting Up Coilovers on Your MQB Tiguan
It is best to set your final ride height with the wheels and tires you plan to run, then schedule an alignment once the suspension has settled. The included front camber plates give your alignment shop adjustment at the top mount, but they do not replace the need for a proper alignment. Keep in mind that this is a lowering-only kit, so it will not return the Tiguan to stock height.
