EXEDY 07807CSC is a Stage 1 organic clutch kit for a Mustang GT or Boss 302 that needs more holding capacity than the factory clutch without moving to a harsh on-off race clutch. Its Ultra-Fiber organic disc and spring-center damper are designed to retain the smooth engagement that makes an organic clutch practical for a street-driven Coyote.
With a 498 WTQ capacity and a pressure plate that provides approximately 40% more clamp load than the genuine part, it is a good fit for naturally aspirated bolt-on cars, mild forced-induction builds within the rating, and drivers who occasionally take the car to the track. The kit includes a hydraulic concentric slave cylinder, which is worth replacing while the transmission is already removed.
Before You Install
Verify the flywheel before beginning the job. This kit requires the EXEDY EF502 or a 2011-2014 Mustang GT OEM flywheel. Inspect the pilot bearing, transmission input shaft, clutch hydraulics, and flywheel surface during installation. Follow the clutch break-in procedure supplied with the kit before full-throttle driving or track use.
