Add four 8-inch subwoofers to your Jeep Gladiator without giving up the rear seating area with this ported under-seat enclosure from DS18. It fits beneath the rear seat and gives you the cone area of four subs without putting a large box in the middle of the cab.
The ported design is made for stronger low-end output than a comparable sealed box, making this a good starting point for a Gladiator audio system that needs enough bass to keep up when the roof and doors come off.
This is an empty enclosure. Subwoofers, amplifier and wiring are not included.

Choosing Subwoofers and an Amplifier
This enclosure needs four matching 8-inch subwoofers. Pay attention to mounting depth, cutout diameter, power handling and voice-coil configuration when choosing the subs.
Plan the final impedance before buying the amplifier. Four dual-voice-coil subwoofers can be wired several different ways, so the amplifier needs to be stable at the final load and provide enough RMS power for all four subs. Match the amplifier to RMS power rather than the larger maximum-power number.
Installation
The enclosure installs beneath the Gladiator's rear seat. Remove any factory under-seat storage pieces or accessories that interfere with the enclosure, test-fit the box and plan the amplifier and speaker wiring before mounting the subwoofers.
The rear seat still needs to open and close without pressing against the subwoofer surrounds. Check subwoofer clearance before completing the installation, then secure the enclosure so it cannot move while driving or off-road.
