Upgrade your BMW B58-powered M240i, 340i, or 440i with the Dinan Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake System, engineered to improve airflow, enhance throttle response, and elevate your driving experience. Available in Closed and Semi-Open configurations, this intake system allows you to choose between maximum thermal efficiency or a more aggressive induction sound without compromising performance.
Building on the success of Dinan's renowned BMW intake systems, this next-generation design replaces the restrictive factory intake with a significantly larger carbon fiber airbox, high-flow filter, optimized intake tube, and free-flowing Air Mass Meter housing. The result is smoother airflow, reduced turbocharger strain, and improved engine efficiency for consistent performance on both stock and modified vehicles.
The redesigned intake system produces gains of up to 15 HP and 13 lb-ft of torque on a completely stock vehicle while improving throttle response and delivering a more engaging driving experience. A 30% larger airbox and 34% greater filter surface area provide increased airflow, while the optimized carbon fiber intake tube eliminates the factory baffling and Helmholtz resonator that disrupt airflow and suppress turbo sound. The enlarged injection-molded Air Mass Meter housing, approximately 8% larger than stock, further enhances intake efficiency.
Crafted entirely from premium carbon fiber, the intake not only offers exceptional durability and heat resistance but also provides a refined, high-end appearance that enhances any engine bay. The advanced carbon fiber construction and protective finish are designed to maintain their appearance over years of use while delivering OEM-quality fitment and straightforward installation.
