The F54 Clubman JCW and F60 Countryman JCW MINI Cooper models combine everyday practicality with the unmistakable character that makes MINI so enjoyable to drive. With the turbocharged B48 2.0L engine delivering spirited performance and impressive efficiency, these models strike an excellent balance between daily comfort and excitement. For many owners, the factory setup is more than adequate. But for enthusiasts looking to unlock even more personality from their MINI, there's one area that deserves attention—the exhaust. From the factory, the stock exhaust remains relatively subdued in all driving modes, leaving much of the B48 engine's sporty character hidden. Dinan offers the perfect solution to bring that personality to life.
The Dinan exhaust system delivers a dramatically improved exhaust note that is not only louder, but also deeper and fuller. Utilizing 70mm mandrel-bent piping free of hydroforming restrictions, the system promotes smoother exhaust flow throughout its entire length. The tubing feeds into a streamlined performance muffler that embodies Dinan's proven exhaust philosophy, using absorption technology to improve flow while reducing back pressure. The result is a modest increase in power at the upper end of the RPM range, along with an engaging, sporty exhaust note complete with satisfying pops for an even more rewarding driving experience.
Factory valve control is retained, allowing the system to remain refined during normal driving while delivering additional character whenever spirited driving calls for it. Regardless of driving style or road conditions, the exhaust has been carefully engineered to minimize low-RPM drone, ensuring the cabin remains comfortable without excessive noise. While the sound is a major reason to upgrade, the craftsmanship and styling are equally impressive. The Dinan MINI Cooper exhaust is constructed entirely from T304 stainless steel and precision TIG welded for exceptional durability, appearance, and finish. Every component receives a brushed finish to ensure the system looks as good as it performs straight out of the box. That same attention to detail extends to the exhaust tips, which feature massive dual 4-inch (102mm) clamp-on, double-walled, polished, and laser-engraved tips. Dinan's signature straight-cut tip design is retained, preserving its distinctive and sophisticated styling in a market filled with angled-cut alternatives. The oversized tips perfectly complement the factory bumper openings, giving the rear of the MINI an aggressive yet refined appearance that turns heads before the engine even comes to life.
