Product Description
The CSF 2606 radiator is a direct-fit replacement for a leaking, damaged, or worn-out radiator in a 1998-2005 Lexus GS300 or 1998-2000 GS400. It uses an OEM-style plastic-tank aluminum-core design, so it fits like the original unit while giving you a fresh cooling system component for your S160 GS.
The built-in transmission fluid cooler is part of the radiator assembly and connects to the factory transmission cooler lines. This makes the CSF 2606 a straightforward replacement for automatic GS300 and GS400 models that still use the factory-style radiator cooling setup.
Replacing the Radiator in Your Lexus GS
If the original radiator is leaking, the plastic end tanks are cracked, or the coolant has been contaminated, it is a good time to inspect the upper and lower radiator hoses, hose clamps, radiator cap, and coolant condition. Make sure the transmission cooler lines are fully seated and check for leaks after the engine reaches operating temperature.
Use the correct coolant for your Lexus and bleed the cooling system properly after installation. Air trapped in the system can lead to poor heater performance or higher-than-normal coolant temperatures.
