Product Description
The CSF 7210 is a heavy-duty all-aluminum radiator developed specifically for the 3rd Gen Toyota 4Runner. Its 42mm, 2-row core increases coolant capacity and heat-transfer area compared with the factory-style plastic-tank radiator.
CSF's B-Tube design uses tubes formed and brazed with an internal center seam, creating additional surface area for improved heat transfer. Multi-louvered fins help move heat from the tubes into the air passing through the radiator while maintaining efficient airflow through the core.
The aluminum end tanks are TIG welded to the core, eliminating the crimped plastic-tank joints found on the original radiator. Factory-style mounting points and hose locations allow the CSF radiator to install without cutting or modifying the vehicle.
Built for Towing and Off-Road Use
Oversized tires, low-speed trail driving, steep climbs and towing can place additional load on the engine and transmission. The CSF 7210 combines its larger aluminum core with a built-in 5-plate transmission cooler to help manage the additional heat generated under these conditions.
This radiator is also suitable for daily-driven 4Runners that need a durable replacement for an aging or leaking factory radiator.
Installation Notes
- Inspect the upper and lower radiator hoses, clamps, thermostat and fan clutch while the cooling system is drained.
- Flush old or contaminated coolant from the system before installing the new radiator.
- Connect the factory transmission cooler lines on automatic-transmission models.
- Install the supplied foam strips between the radiator and factory fan shroud to help prevent air from bypassing the core.
- Refill with the coolant specified for the vehicle and bleed all trapped air from the system.
- Check for coolant and transmission-fluid leaks after the engine reaches operating temperature.
