Fitment Note: This radiator fits all three body styles of the second generation CTS-V across the full 2009-2015 production run, covering the Sedan, Coupe, and Wagon. Manual transmission cars get a straightforward drop-in swap. Automatic transmission cars need a separate transmission oil cooler alongside this radiator, the same way the factory setup is configured.

The LSA puts out more heat than a comparable naturally aspirated 6.2, and the factory plastic-tank radiator was built around GM's production cost targets, not a track day. The CSF swap is a direct drop-in with no modification. The B-Tube core is the reason it costs what it does - CSF forms the tube into a B shape instead of a standard O, brazes the seam, and ends up with something that's stronger than a welded O-tube despite using thinner aluminum. That extra strength is what lets them increase heat transfer surface area by around 15% over a conventional design without adding weight. If your car has an automatic, this handles engine coolant only. You'll need a separate transmission oil cooler alongside it, same as the factory setup.
