Fitment Note
- Sold individually. Most compatible B48 and B58 applications use two auxiliary radiators, but some trim levels were not equipped with any. Verify the number installed on your vehicle before ordering.
- CSF 8355 fits either the left or right auxiliary-radiator position.
- Direct-fit replacement for BMW OE 17-11-8-625-447.
- May replace BMW OE 17-11-7-628-057 or 17-11-7-600-697 when the correct mounting brackets are used. Minor air-duct trimming may also be required.
- Vehicles equipped with the M Sport Package and M Sport brakes should typically use OE 17-11-8-625-447, but the original part number should still be verified by VIN.
- The F87 M2 with the N55 engine uses one CSF 8355 auxiliary radiator on the left side. Its right-side cooler is an engine oil cooler.
- Does not fit the F87 M2 Competition with the S55 engine.
- This is an auxiliary engine-coolant radiator. It is not the vehicle’s main radiator or front-mounted charge-air heat exchanger.

Product Description
The CSF 8355 auxiliary radiator increases the cooling capacity of compatible BMW F2X, F3X and F87 engine-cooling systems. It is designed for modified street cars, track-driven vehicles and drivers who want a more durable replacement for the factory auxiliary radiator.
Compared with the original 27.5mm single-row unit, the CSF radiator uses a larger 42mm two-row core. CSF’s B-Tube construction and 5mm multi-louvered fins provide additional surface area for transferring heat while maintaining airflow through the core. Increased tank volume also adds coolant capacity to help the cooling system manage sustained loads and recover more quickly between hard runs.
The factory plastic end tanks are replaced by TIG-welded aluminum tanks, while an integrated aluminum mounting frame replaces the original plastic cradle-style construction. A removable rock guard helps protect the exposed auxiliary radiator from stones and other road debris.
OEM-style quick-connect fittings allow the CSF 8355 to connect to the factory cooling system. When replacing BMW OE 17-11-8-625-447, it installs in the original location and can be used on either side of the vehicle. Applications fitted with another factory auxiliary-radiator version may require the correct lower bracket and minor trimming, so checking the original part number before ordering is strongly recommended.
Know What You Are Replacing
BMW’s B48 and B58 cooling layouts use several separate heat exchangers. CSF 8355 replaces a side-mounted auxiliary radiator in the engine-coolant circuit. It does not replace the primary engine radiator or the front-mounted heat exchanger used by the charge-air cooling circuit.
