Product Description
The factory cable shifter on the 2015+ WRX is a bit... long. It feels more like rowing a boat than piloting a performance car. COBB Tuning fixes this by altering the geometry of the shift linkage right at the transmission. By moving the mounting point closer to the pivot, the throw distance inside the cabin is drastically reduced. But COBB gives you the power of choice: start with the 15% reduction for a tighter daily driver feel, or move to the 35% setting for lightning-fast, wrist-flick shifts on the track.
However, the real engineering magic here is the weight. Many cheap shift plates are light, which actually makes shifting harder because you lose the momentum that helps "push" the transmission into gear.
