Product Description
The factory pitch stop mount on your Subaru looks (and acts) like a plastic chew toy. It was designed for maximum comfort, meaning it allows the engine and transmission to pitch back and forth significantly during acceleration and braking. This "drivetrain slop" wastes energy and makes shifting feel vague. COBB Tuning fixes this by swapping that plastic for a solid piece of CNC-machined aluminum art.
But here is where COBB outsmarts the competition: they didn't just make it rock-hard. A solid metal mount would rattle your teeth out. Instead, COBB utilizes a Dual Durometer Bushing strategy. By using a stiffer 85A bushing on the engine side to control torque and a softer 68A High Rebound bushing on the firewall side, they dampen the Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) before it enters the cabin. You get the solid, "connected" feel of a race car without the headache of a track-only part.
