Product Description
The new BRZ and GR86 are incredible driver's cars, but from the factory, the ride height is a bit... generous. It looks more like it's ready for a gravel rally than a track day. The COBB Tuning Sport Lowering Springs are the fix. By dropping the nose 1.25 inches and the tail 1 inch, we fix the aesthetics immediately. The car looks hunkered down, purposeful, and ready to attack the tarmac.
Handling You Can Feel
But this isn't just about "stance." Dropping the ride height changes the physics of the car. The lower center of gravity means the car transitions left-to-right faster and stays flatter through the twisties. The Progressive Spring Design is the secret sauce here. Unlike linear springs that can feel harsh over every pothole, these springs start softer to soak up the imperfections of your daily commute. But the moment you toss the car into a corner, the coils compress into the stiffer rate (266 lbs/in Front), eliminating body roll and keeping your tires glued to the asphalt.
It’s not just about turning. The increased spring stiffness in the rear (215 lbs/in) helps fight "squat" when you launch hard, meaning less wheel hop and more forward momentum. Under braking, the stiffer front prevents the nose from diving, keeping the rear tires planted and the car stable.
