Product Description
Lowering a BRZ, FR-S, 86, GR86 looks great, but it wrecks the factory geometry. The moment the ride height drops on springs or coilovers, the rear wheels naturally "camber in." The stock suspension simply doesn't have enough adjustment range to fix this. The result? The car chews through expensive tires in 5,000 miles and feels sketchy in corners. COBB Tuning offers the mechanical "reset button" for this alignment issue.
Option 1: Rear Lower Control Arms (The Camber Fix) The Rear Lower Control Arms are the foundation. Unlike the flimsy stamped steel factory arms, these are heavy-duty alloy units equipped with Polyurethane Bushings. They allow the alignment tech to pull that negative camber back to factory spec to save the tires, or push it out further to fit aggressive wide wheels. Plus, the stiffer bushings mean the suspension doesn't squirm under load—it just grips.
Option 2: The Complete Package (+ Toe Arms) Here is the secret most shops won't tell you: Camber impacts Toe. When you adjust the camber significantly, it changes the toe (the direction the tires point). The factory toe adjustment uses a miserable eccentric bolt with a very limited range. The Complete Package includes Adjustable Toe Arms to replace that headache. They feature Heavy-Duty Ball Joints and a simple turn-buckle adjustment, ensuring the alignment stays locked in, even after hitting a pothole or a rumble strip.
