Product Description
The Ford Bronco and Bronco Raptor are off-road beasts, but they share a common weakness: the stock intercooler. It's undersized, easily overwhelmed, and prone to "heat soak" halfway up a trail. When that happens, the ECU pulls timing, and your powerful EcoBoost feels sluggish. The COBB Tuning Front Mount Intercooler is the fix, providing the thermal headroom needed to maintain peak torque when you need it most.
Most aftermarket intercoolers force you to hack up your grille or remove active shutters. COBB refused to do that. The engineers spent hundreds of hours 3D scanning the front end to ensure this massive core mates snugly to the factory shutter shroud. This forces ambient air through the fins rather than letting it spill around the sides, mimicking the OEM efficiency but with vastly more cooling capacity.
Bronco (2.3L / 2.7L) – Cast Reliability - For the standard Bronco, COBB utilized Cast Aluminum End Tanks. Casting allows for complex, organic shapes that smooth out airflow, eliminating the sharp corners that cause turbulence in welded sheet-metal tanks. It’s rugged, efficient, and built to take a beating on the trail.
Bronco Raptor / Ranger Raptor (3.0L) – Billet Precision - For the flagship Raptor models, COBB went all out. The end tanks are machined from Billet Aluminum. This isn't just for looks (though it looks incredible); billet offers superior strength for the higher boost levels of the 3.0L engine. It’s the ultimate "Endgame" upgrade for the ultimate truck.
