The factory uses a soft, liquid-filled rubber bushing that is notorious for tearing, leaking, and causing "steering wander." The COBB Tuning Front Control Arm Inner Bushing Kit isn't just a replacement part; it's an evolution. We ditched the fragile rubber for a sophisticated hybrid design that uses a 72a Durometer synthetic elastomer. This material is firm enough to stop the control arm from squirming under braking but compliant enough to keep your teeth from rattling out on the highway.

Choose Your Geometry We offer this kit in two specific variations depending on your goals:

• The Restorer (Standard Alignment): If you want your car to drive like new (but better), this is the one. It retains the factory alignment specs exactly but removes the slop. It’s perfect for the daily driver who wants tight steering without altering the suspension geometry.

• The Performer (Offset Alignment): This is for the driver who chases apexes. We moved the bearing center to create an Offset Geometry. This adds positive Caster to the front wheels. Why does that matter? Caster improves high-speed stability and, more importantly, increases "dynamic camber" when you turn the wheel. It helps the tire bite harder into the corner, reducing understeer and transforming the front-end grip.

Some race kits use harsh metal spherical bearings that clunk and bang over every pebble. COBB's design uses a specialized bearing inside the elastomer. This "Articulation" allows the arm to pivot smoothly as the suspension travels up and down, preventing binding while ensuring the alignment holds true even when you are standing on the brake pedal.
