Product Description
The EcoBoost Mustang is a capable platform, but the factory intake was designed to keep your car quiet, not fast. We built this kit to fix that. We ripped out the restrictive plastic plumbing and replaced it with a solid 3" aluminum tube. Because we use mandrel bending, the pipe keeps its full diameter through every corner, meaning the air doesn't hit a "speed bump" on its way to the turbo.
Protection and Performance We didn't just leave the filter hanging out in the open hot air, either. This kit includes a custom aluminum airbox that isolates the intake from the rest of the hot engine bay, ensuring your turbo gets a dense, cool charge. Inside that box sits a massive Dual Cone Green Filter. This isn't your standard auto-parts-store filter; it offers huge surface area to gulp down air and is fully cleanable. When it gets dirty, you just wash, re-oil, and go.
Aside from the flow gains, this intake transforms the character of the car. The Wrinkle Black powder coat gives it a premium, OEM+ look that blends in perfectly under the hood—no flashy chrome here, just business. Plus, once you bolt this on, you finally get to hear that turbo spool and the bypass valve vent. It’s the first mod every EcoBoost owner should do to start building a proper sleeper.
