Here is the truth: a lot of titanium exhausts sound terrible. They get tinny, raspy, and thin at high RPMs. We refused to let that happen. COBB engineers spent serious time tuning the Stamped Muffler and resonator to absorb those harsh frequencies. The result? Titanium is tricky to weld. If you don't do it right, it cracks. We use a back-purging process (filling the pipe with argon gas) to ensure the welds are flawless inside and out. We also designed the layout with a 3-inch mid-pipe splitting into dual 2.5-inch runners to maximize flow for the EA888 engine.
