If you are running a 5 or 6 point harness in your BMW E36 for track use, you need a proper mounting point behind the seats. The stock seatbelt mounting points are not in the right location and will not provide the support needed for a harness setup. The BRAUM harness bar solves that with a high strength steel bar that adjusts from 48" to 51" wide and mounts in 4 points for a solid, stable fit.
The lower bars use high strength steel ball joint rod ends for fine-tuned adjustability so you can get the fitment dialed in for your specific setup. Hardware is included. The bar can also be used to mount a GoPro or other action camera.
This is a universal bar that has been tested on the E36 application. There are two things to know before installing on an E36 specifically: both ends of the bar need to be reversed to sit properly and flush, and installation requires cutting into the pillar covers. Factor that in before ordering if keeping the interior stock is a concern.
Available in black, red, white, space gray, and bronze. If you are building out your E36 for track use, we also carry coilovers, safety gear, and other interior upgrades to complement the build.
