Product Description
The BOOST Products OF-M22-BM makes it easier to add an external oil cooler without giving up a clean, serviceable layout around the oil filter. Its integrated 82°C thermostat keeps most oil out of the cooler circuit while the engine is cold, then progressively sends more oil through the cooler as temperature rises.
The plate gives you multiple routing options with M22x1.5 ports and angled -8 AN ORB ports, while the included adapters convert either route to -10 AN. Two 1/8-inch NPT ports also provide a convenient place to install compatible oil-pressure or oil-temperature sensors without adding another adapter to the system.
Before You Buy
Confirm the oil-filter thread and clearance before ordering. A sandwich plate changes the installed length at the filter location, so check for interference with the subframe, exhaust, steering components, or body panels. Use PTFE thread-sealing tape on 1/8-inch NPT connections as specified by BOOST Products. Select fittings, hose, cooler size, and mounting hardware around your engine, available space, and intended use.
