Fitment Note: This is a front-only kit. It covers all 5th generation Toyota 4Runner models from 2010 through 2024 that are equipped with the standard factory front coilover suspension. This kit is not compatible with 4Runner trims that came with X-REAS (cross-linked hydraulic) suspension, which was available on the Sport Edition and select Limited configurations. If you are unsure whether your 4Runner has X-REAS, look for a hydraulic line running between the front and rear shocks on the same side of the vehicle. KDSS (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System) models are compatible with this kit, but the lift range differs: without KDSS, expect approximately 0.7-3 inches of front lift depending on spring seat position; with KDSS, the range is approximately 1-3.5 inches. These figures are typical and will vary depending on your vehicle's current suspension condition, accessory weight, and wheel and tire combination.

• The 6112 kit reuses the factory top mount and spring isolators. A coil spring compressor is required for installation. An alignment is required after installation. For 4Runners carrying heavy aftermarket front accessories such as a steel bumper or winch exceeding approximately 150 lbs of added front weight, consider the heavy-duty variant (Bilstein part number 47-311039) in place of this kit, as the included springs are optimized for stock-weight front ends. One thing worth knowing before you set the spring seat position: the lift figures Bilstein publishes assume a stock-weight front end. Most people running this kit on a Trail or TRD Off-Road with factory weight land right around 2.5 inches on the higher settings. If you're adding a heavy front bumper or winch, the added weight will compress the spring and reduce your actual lift. For builds with significant front accessories, the heavier-duty B8 6112 variant (part number 47-311039) is the better call. This standard kit is the right choice for the vast majority of bolt-on builds running factory or minimal front accessories.
