The Bilstein B12 Pro-Kit is a well-rounded lowering kit for the Audi S5 owner who wants more control than stock suspension without giving up the straightforward install and daily usability of a spring-and-shock package. Bilstein matches its B8 performance dampers with Eibach Pro-Kit springs, so the spring rate and damper valving are designed to work together from the start.
The result is a modest 25 mm front and 20 mm rear drop that tightens up the wheel gap without taking the S5 too low. The monotube dampers give the car a more planted, confident feel through corners and on the highway while still being practical for a street-driven B8 S5.
Lowering Your B8 S5 Without Coilovers
The B12 Pro-Kit is a good fit if you want a fixed, balanced drop and do not need to adjust ride height or damping. It is also a simpler option for owners who would rather install a complete matched kit than pair springs with separate shocks.
