Product Description

The Belltech 796SP lowering kit gives the 2003-2006 Chevy SSR a lower, more purposeful stance without piecing together springs, struts, and shocks separately. It includes Belltech rear lowering springs, adjustable front Street Performance struts, and matched rear Street Performance shocks for a complete front and rear suspension package.

The front Street Performance struts allow the SSR to be set from 1 inch above factory height down to 2 inches below it, while the 4230 rear springs establish the rear drop. Belltech pairs those components with 2210DG rear shocks to provide a matched solution for SSR owners who want to lower the truck while replacing the factory dampers at the same time.

Before You Buy

Set the front ride height before scheduling an alignment, since the 25011 front struts provide the kit's adjustment range. The rear drop is fixed by the included 4230 coil springs at approximately 1.5 inches on the SSR. Check tire, wheel, and fender clearance at your intended ride height, then have the alignment checked after installation.
