• USDM 2000-2005 Passenger Side: No need to purchase new weight sensors. Your vehicles original weight sensors can be reused. Unbolt bolt with a tamper proof T27 Torx bit. We have it set up to simply bolt our Type M seat rails directly to the weight sensors.

Product Description

Ballade Sports has always admired the OEM and Mugen style of seat rails, known for their ergonomic one-handle slider activation. Originally, Mugen adapted the OEM Honda slider in the early 2000s, and for years, Ballade Sports modified OEM S2000 seat rails to match the Mugen side mount profile for racing bucket seats. This was a labor-intensive process, but after two years of development, Ballade Sports now mass-produces the popular Ballade Sports S2000 Type M Right Handle Seat Rail. This new model mirrors the Mugen design, including the same limitations. Despite this, many have successfully fitted it with other side mount seats like Recaro, Bride, and Sparco using spacers, which are provided in 15mm aluminum, just like Mugen’s. The side mount brackets are 6061 red anodized aluminum, replicating the Mugen design, and the rail activation uses a vintage Honda wire cable with small washers. Additionally, Ballade Sports can now convert US AP2 06-09 passenger side weight sensor seats to accommodate this side mount rail, overcoming previous cost barriers associated with custom modifications.
