The BAKFlip MX4 Gen 3 gives your 2021-2026 Ford F-150, F-150 Raptor, or 2022-2026 F-150 Lightning a hard folding tonneau cover that sits nearly flush with the bed rails. The matte black finish keeps the truck looking clean, while the aluminum panels and reinforced cores give you a durable surface for daily use.

When closed, the MX4 automatically latches to help keep cargo secure under the cover. When you need the full bed, fold the panels forward and secure the cover upright against the cab. It stays clear of the third brake light, so you can drive with the cover fully open when hauling larger gear.

BAK updated the Gen 3 MX4 with stronger panels, improved prop rod clips, tighter perimeter seals, and a simpler click-in installation design. The drain tubes route water away from the bed, and the dual-action tailgate seal is designed to work whether the tailgate is opened before or after the cover.

Installing the MX4 on Your F-150

The MX4 installs with the included side rails, clamps, and drain tubes. You do not need to drill into the truck for a standard installation, but take a few minutes to position the rails evenly and route the drain tubes before tightening everything down. After the first week of driving, BAK recommends checking the clamps and retention hardware again.

Before folding the cover open, clear off snow, ice, tools, or other loose items. When driving with the cover folded upright, secure it with both prop rods.
