Product Description
The all-new AutoTecknic Dry Carbon Competition Front Aero Lip for the Corvette C8. Manufactured using 100% genuine 3K Twill-Weave (2X2) Carbon Fiber, this lip is finished with multiple high-gloss UV-resistant clear coatings. Following the weight-saving principles of motorsport ideals, we utilize a vacuum forming process (autoclave) to produce this lip with superior strength and fitment. This lip only weighs a whopping 370 grams!
Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. Dry carbon fiber's name comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold and then into a sealed autoclave to properly cure. This method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the "wet" method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon.
With the AutoTecknic Dry Carbon Competition Front Aero Lip, not only will the aerodynamic functionality of the vehicle be improved, but it will also increase aesthetic appeal on the front end of your C8.
