Product Description
Putting a CD009 behind a 1JZ or 2JZ takes more than an adapter plate. The transmission still needs the correct flywheel, pilot bearing, chassis mount and shifter position. AutoSports Engineering puts those main pieces together in one package made around the first-generation Lexus IS300.
The billet adapter plate mates the JZ engine and Toyota A340 bellhousing to the Nissan six-speed transmission. ASE includes a matched flywheel that works with compatible single-disc 350Z and 370Z clutch kits, along with the IS300 crossmember and mount needed to support the transmission in the chassis.
You can also add the correct rear-mount shifter, slave-cylinder setup and clutch master cylinder based on how the car is being built. This makes it easier to put together the full IS300 CD009 swap without trying to match unrelated conversion parts from different manufacturers.
Before You Buy
Check the identification stamped into your Toyota A340 automatic bellhousing and confirm whether it is a J1, J2 or J3 before ordering. The transmission, A340 bellhousing, clutch kit and driveshaft are not included with the base kit.
ASE uses a 1999 Camaro T56-style slave cylinder with the standard cut-bellhousing setup. The slave cylinder needs to be installed and the lines routed before the bellhousing is bolted to the adapter plate.
