AMP Research's PowerStep XL Running Boards offer a seamless blend of functionality and convenience. These boards automatically deploy when the door opens and retract after a 3-second delay upon closing. They drop 4 inches lower than standard PowerStep boards, making them ideal for lifted trucks or vehicles with higher ground clearance. Unlike most stationary running boards that sit 1-2 inches below the body, PowerStep XL ensures easy access for all passengers. When retracted, they tuck into the rock rail, providing excellent ground clearance and light rocker panel protection. Featuring a wide 6-inch step surface, they accommodate any footwear comfortably. Integrated LED lights illuminate the steps and ground for enhanced safety, activating during deployment and shutting off when retracted. With a robust 600 LB load capacity, these running boards are twice as strong as most alternatives, ensuring durability and reliability for heavy-duty use.
