Product Description
The AEM 21-813C cold air intake replaces the restrictive factory air box and intake tube on the 1.5L turbo Chevy Malibu with a free-flowing aluminum intake system. It uses a Gunmetal Gray mandrel-bent tube, heat shield, and oversized Dryflow filter to improve airflow while retaining the factory mass air flow sensor and required intake connections.
AEM tuned and dyno-tested this system for an estimated 12 horsepower gain at 5,100 RPM. The oil-free Dryflow filter is washable and reusable, with service intervals of up to 100,000 miles depending on conditions. It is a good fit for Malibu owners looking for stronger induction sound, improved throttle response, and a reusable filter without the maintenance of an oiled filter.

Before You Buy
This AEM intake is for the 1.5L turbo Malibu only. It is not a CARB-legal intake and cannot be sold or used in California. The kit uses an oil-free washable filter, so no filter oil is required after cleaning. If you need a replacement filter later, use AEM part number 21-2027DK.
