No additional tuning is required on a stock truck or one running a performance gasoline tune. Advanced Fuel Dynamics reports gains of approximately 40–45 wheel horsepower on E85, along with more torque and cooler engine operating temperatures.

Fitment Note
Fits the dual-injection 5.0L Coyote V8 only. It does not fit F150 models with the 2.7L EcoBoost, 3.5L EcoBoost, 3.5L PowerBoost, 3.3L V6 or Raptor R 5.2L engine.

Sensor Options
- Standard Sensor: Uses a genuine GM/Continental ethanol content sensor and is a good option for stock and lightly modified trucks.
- E-SENSE Sensor: Uses AFD’s high-flow ethanol content sensor. AFD rates it for up to 12 times the fuel flow of the standard GM/Continental sensor, making it the better choice for modified fuel systems and higher-horsepower builds.
How the ProFlex DXI System Works
The ProFlex DXI measures the ethanol percentage in the fuel and electronically adjusts injector operation for the current blend. You can fill the truck with gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two without pushing buttons, changing settings or loading a different tune.
BlendSense technology updates every 30 milliseconds, allowing the system to respond as the fuel blend changes. The ProFlex Connect app also lets you check ethanol content from an Apple or Android phone.

Installation Information
Installation normally takes about an hour. Most of the system uses plug-and-play connections, but one connector pin must be installed inline with an existing wire. Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable crimping automotive connector pins.
Emissions Information
The ProFlex DXI does not remove or replace emissions equipment. It reads the ethanol content in the fuel and electronically adjusts injector operation so the engine can run gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two.
