The system was developed specifically for the dual-injection 5.0L Coyote used in the 2018–2023 S550 Mustang. Advanced Fuel Dynamics reports approximately 40–45 wheel horsepower gains on E85, with no additional tuning required on a stock car or one running a performance gasoline tune.

Fitment Note
Fits S550 Mustang GT and Mach 1 models with the dual-injection 5.0L Coyote V8. Advanced Fuel Dynamics lists fitment for GT and Mach 1 models only.
This system does not fit the Mustang EcoBoost, Shelby GT350, GT350R, Shelby GT500 or 2024 and newer S650 Mustang.
How the ProFlex DX System Works
The ProFlex DX measures the ethanol content in the fuel and electronically adjusts injector operation for the current blend. You can fill the car with pump gas, E85 or any mixture of the two without pushing buttons, changing settings or loading a separate E85 tune.
BlendSense technology updates every 30 milliseconds as the fuel blend changes. You can also use the ProFlex Connect app to check the current ethanol percentage from an Apple or Android phone.

Installation Information
Installation normally takes about an hour. Most of the system uses plug-and-play connections, but one connector pin must be installed inline with an existing wire. Professional installation is recommended if you are not comfortable crimping automotive connector pins.
Emissions Information
The ProFlex DX does not remove or replace emissions equipment. It reads the ethanol content in the fuel and electronically adjusts injector operation so the engine can run gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two.
Advanced Fuel Dynamics does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for this kit. California emissions compliance will also depend on the vehicle, engine calibration and approval status of the complete setup.

Before You Buy
- This system is only for the dual-injection 5.0L Coyote used in the listed Mustang GT and Mach 1 models.
- No additional tune is required for a stock or lightly modified naturally aspirated car.
- Cars with aggressive camshafts, long-tube headers, forced induction or other major power upgrades may require larger MPI injectors.
- Fuel pump and injector requirements will depend on the car’s modifications and intended power level.
