Advanced Fuel Dynamics ProFlex Commander for Pontiac GTO 5th Gen LS1 / LS2 (04-06) E85 Flex Fuel System

Run gasoline, E85 or any mix of the two without switching tunes every time you fill up. The Advanced Fuel Dynamics ProFlex Commander reads the actual ethanol content in your fifth-generation Pontiac GTO and electronically adjusts injector operation around whatever blend is in the tank.

On a stock or mildly modified naturally aspirated LS1 or LS2, the Standard Commander installs in about an hour and does not require a separate flex-fuel tune. Advanced Fuel Dynamics reports 7-10% more wheel horsepower and torque on E85 in its testing, along with lower cylinder, oil and coolant temperatures.

Choose Your Commander

• Standard Commander: Choose this for a naturally aspirated LS1 or LS2 running factory injectors. It is made for stock and mildly modified street cars without an aftermarket turbo or supercharger.
• Commander Pro: Choose this if the GTO has or will have forced induction, upgraded fuel-system components or 600cc / 60 lb/hr or larger injectors. The Pro provides better control over larger injectors and leaves room for future upgrades.

Choose Your Fuel Sensor

• Standard Sensor: The right option for a stock or mildly modified fuel system. It provides accurate ethanol-content readings without adding features most street cars will not use.
• E-Sense Sensor: Made for higher-flow fuel systems and higher-horsepower builds. It reduces the restriction associated with a standard GM-style sensor and adds fuel-temperature monitoring through the ProFlex Connect app.

The selected fuel sensor is included with the kit.

Before You Buy

• Select the LS1 option for a 2004 GTO or the LS2 option for a 2005-2006 GTO.
• The Standard Commander is only for naturally aspirated cars running factory injectors.
• Choose the Commander Pro for turbocharged or supercharged builds and cars using 600cc / 60 lb/hr or larger injectors.
• Advanced Fuel Dynamics says the stock fuel system has enough capacity for E85 on the supported stock application.
• If the car has a cam, forced induction, nitrous or larger injectors, have your tuner confirm that the complete fuel system has enough capacity for the intended ethanol blend and power level.
• The Commander does not require a separate flex-fuel tune on a stock or mildly modified setup. Cars with major engine or fuel-system changes should still be checked by the tuner familiar with the build.

Emissions Information

The ProFlex Commander does not remove or replace emissions equipment. It reads the ethanol content in the fuel and electronically adjusts injector operation so the engine can run gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two.

Advanced Fuel Dynamics does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for this kit. Redline360 cannot ship this product to California for use on pollution-controlled vehicles.

Pairs Well With

• SLP LoudMouth Cat-Back Exhaust for 2004 Pontiac GTO – Gives the LS1 a louder exhaust sound through a stainless 2.5-inch system with an X-pipe. This version only fits the 2004 GTO.
• MagnaFlow Cat-Back Exhaust for 2005-2006 Pontiac GTO – Available in Street or Competition configurations depending on how loud you want the LS2. This exhaust only fits the 2005-2006 6.0L GTO.
• AEM 340 LPH E85-Compatible In-Tank Fuel Pump – Worth considering for a Commander Pro build that needs more fuel-pump capacity. This is a universal pump that may require changes to the factory hanger or wiring, and it is not required for a stock GTO using the Standard Commander.
