Advanced Fuel Dynamics ProFlex Commander for Chevy Camaro SS / ZL1 / Z/28 5th Gen LS3 / L99 / LSA / LS7 (10-15) E85 Flex Fuel System

Run gasoline, E85 or any mix of the two without switching tunes every time the fuel changes. The Advanced Fuel Dynamics ProFlex Commander reads the actual ethanol content in your fifth-generation Camaro and electronically adjusts injector operation around whatever blend is in the tank.

It works with the factory calibration or an existing performance gas tune, so a stock or mildly modified Camaro doesn’t need a separate flex-fuel tune. Advanced Fuel Dynamics reports 7-10% more wheel horsepower and torque on E85 in its testing, along with lower cylinder, oil and coolant temperatures.

This system only fits fifth-generation Camaro V8 models. It does not fit the V6 Camaro.

Choose Your Commander

• Standard Commander: Choose this for a naturally aspirated Camaro SS or Z/28 running factory injectors. It is intended for stock and mildly modified street cars that do not have an aftermarket turbo or supercharger.
• Commander Pro: Choose this for the factory-supercharged Camaro ZL1, any SS or Z/28 with forced induction, or a car running 600cc / 60 lb/hr or larger injectors. The Pro version provides better control over larger injectors and leaves room for future fuel-system upgrades.

Choose Your Fuel Sensor

• Standard Sensor: The right option for a stock or mildly modified fuel system. It provides accurate ethanol-content readings without adding features most street cars will not use.
• E-Sense Sensor: Made for higher-flow fuel systems and higher-horsepower builds. It reduces the restriction associated with a standard GM-style sensor and adds fuel-temperature monitoring through the ProFlex Connect app.

The selected fuel sensor is included with the kit.

Before You Buy

• The Standard Commander is not intended for the supercharged ZL1. Select the Commander Pro for LSA applications.
• A stock or mildly modified naturally aspirated Camaro does not normally require a fuel-pump or injector upgrade to use this system.
• If the car has a pulley, cam, turbo, supercharger, nitrous or larger injectors, have your tuner confirm that the complete fuel system has enough capacity for E85.
• The ProFlex Commander itself does not require a separate flex-fuel tune. Cars with larger injectors, forced-induction changes or an existing custom calibration should still be checked by the tuner familiar with the complete setup.

Emissions Information

The ProFlex Commander does not remove or replace emissions equipment. It reads the ethanol content in the fuel and electronically adjusts injector operation so the engine can run gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two.

Advanced Fuel Dynamics does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for this kit. Redline360 cannot ship this product to California for use on pollution-controlled vehicles.

Pairs Well With

• K&N Cold Air Intake for 2010-2015 Camaro SS – Adds more airflow and louder intake sound to the LS3 or L99. This intake only fits the Camaro SS and does not fit the ZL1 or Z/28.
• Borla Cat-Back Exhaust for 2012-2015 Camaro SS / 1LE / ZL1 – Adds a louder V8 exhaust sound with S-Type or ATAK options. This version fits coupes with the factory dual-mode quad-tip exhaust and does not fit every Camaro covered by the ProFlex kit.
• Radium Engineering Fuel Pump Hanger for 2010-2015 Camaro – Made for Commander Pro builds that need more fuel-pump capacity for higher horsepower on E85. The hanger accepts one, two or three compatible Walbro pumps, which are sold separately. A stock Camaro does not need this part just to install the ProFlex Commander.

Advanced Fuel Dynamics started after its founder kept seeing E85 tunes miss the mark because the ethanol content at the pump was never consistent. The ProFlex Commander measures what is actually in the tank and adjusts injector operation around that fuel instead of assuming every pump marked E85 has the same ethanol percentage.
