The Advanced Fuel Dynamics ProFlex Commander reads the ethanol content in real time and automatically adjusts injector operation as the fuel blend changes. Fill up with gasoline, E85 or anything in between and the system handles the change on its own.
AFD reports gains of 25 to 30 wheel horsepower on E85 with the naturally aspirated S65 V8. No separate E85 tune is required, and the system works with the factory calibration or an existing performance gasoline tune.

Fitment Note
This kit is made for factory S65-powered E9X M3 applications. Some AFD product headings incorrectly include E91, but the supported factory M3 body styles are the E90 sedan, E92 coupe and E93 convertible.
About the ProFlex Commander
The ethanol percentage in pump E85 can change from one fill-up to another. The ProFlex Commander measures the actual fuel blend instead of assuming every tank contains the same percentage of ethanol.
AFD's BlendSense technology checks the ethanol content and updates injector operation as the mixture changes. There are no maps to switch and you don't have to drain the tank when changing between gasoline and E85.

Emissions Information
The ProFlex Commander does not remove or replace emissions equipment. It reads the ethanol content in the fuel and electronically adjusts injector operation so the engine can run gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two.
Advanced Fuel Dynamics does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for this kit.

Before You Buy
- Choose the Standard Commander for a naturally aspirated car with factory injectors.
- Choose Commander Pro if the car is supercharged, turbocharged or running injectors rated at 600cc/60 lb/hr or larger.
- A supercharged E9X M3 may need upgraded injectors or a higher-capacity fuel pump to safely run full E85.
- AFD recommends dyno testing supercharged cars to confirm that the fuel system can keep up when running full E85.

About Advanced Fuel Dynamics
Advanced Fuel Dynamics developed the ProFlex Commander after finding that the actual ethanol content in pump E85 can vary quite a bit. A tune based on one fixed ethanol percentage can't account for those changes every time you fill the tank.
The ProFlex system measures the fuel that is actually in the car and adjusts injector operation as the blend changes. AFD develops and tests its flex-fuel systems in Salado, Texas.
