Add full adaptive flex-fuel tuning to your 2006–2013 Subaru Forester XT with the Advanced Fuel Dynamics FlexLink PRO. The system sends real-time ethanol-content data to the factory ECU, allowing an HP Tuners Tuning Center to calibrate the car for gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two.
This is the PRO version made for professional tuners. It is not a bolt-on-and-fill-up E85 kit. The hardware must be installed and the factory ECU must be calibrated through HP Tuners before running ethanol.

Fitment Note: This kit is for the turbocharged Forester XT with the 2.5L EJ255. It does not fit non-turbo Forester 2.5X models.
Professional HP Tuners Calibration Required
The FlexLink PRO was developed for HP Tuners Tuning Centers. After installing the hardware, the tuner applies the appropriate HPT Custom Features in the operating-system tab, enables flex fuel and selects the ethanol-content sensor in the software.
Once the tune is complete, the ECU can adjust fueling and other calibrated tables based on the actual ethanol percentage in the tank. You can switch between pump gas and E85 without loading a different map each time.

Fuel System Requirements
Plan on upgrading the fuel injectors and installing an E85-compatible high-flow fuel pump before running full E85. Ethanol requires more fuel volume than gasoline, and the factory Forester XT fuel system does not have enough headroom for full E85 on a tuned setup.
Your HP Tuners Tuning Center should select the injector and fuel-pump capacity based on the car's turbo, boost level and power goal. The tuner should also confirm fuel pressure, injector duty cycle and air/fuel ratio during calibration.
Installation and Setup
- Install the ethanol-content sensor using the supplied quick-connect fuel lines.
- Connect the FlexLink module using the supplied underhood wiring harness.
- Install the upgraded injectors and E85-compatible fuel pump selected by your tuner.
- Connect the vehicle to an HP Tuners interface.
- Enable the HPT Custom Features and flex-fuel sensor input.
- Build and verify the gasoline, ethanol and blended-fuel calibration.
Do not add E85 until the hardware installation and HP Tuners calibration are complete.
Emissions Information
The FlexLink PRO does not remove or replace the catalytic converter or other factory emissions equipment. It adds ethanol-content sensing and requires changes to the factory ECU calibration so the engine can run gasoline, E85 or a mixture of the two.
Advanced Fuel Dynamics does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for this kit. Redline360 cannot ship non-CARB-compliant products to California for use on pollution-controlled vehicles.

- This is the professional FlexLink PRO kit, not the complete do-it-yourself Power Pack.
- Installation and tuning must be completed by a qualified HP Tuners Tuning Center.
- An HP Tuners interface, credits, injectors and fuel pump are not included.
- Confirm that your tuner supports HPT Custom Features for your exact Forester XT ECU before purchasing.
- Do not run ethanol until the custom flex-fuel calibration is installed and verified.
