Run gasoline, E85 or any blend in between with the Advanced Fuel Dynamics FlexLink system for your sixth-gen V8 Camaro. Once the factory ECU flex-fuel function is activated, the system reads the ethanol content in real time and gives the ECU the information it needs to adjust for the fuel in the tank.
This gives your Camaro true flex-fuel capability without having to switch maps whenever the ethanol blend changes. You can also check the current ethanol percentage from your phone using the included ProFlex Connect app.
Advanced Fuel Dynamics reports gains of approximately 7–8% at the wheels for naturally aspirated cars and 9–10% for forced-induction cars when running E85 with the proper calibration.

- Sixth-generation Camaro
Fitment Note
This system is for V8-powered Camaro models. It is not intended for four-cylinder or V6 Camaro applications.
How the FlexLink System Works
The fuel content sensor measures the ethanol percentage and fuel temperature, then sends that information through the FlexLink module. The factory ECU uses the ethanol reading through its activated flex-fuel calibration, while the ProFlex Connect app lets you see the current ethanol content from your phone.
- Run gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two
- Works with the Camaro’s factory ECU flex-fuel mapping
- Real-time ethanol content monitoring
- 30-millisecond ethanol content refresh rate
- Bluetooth connection for the ProFlex Connect app
- 5-volt input and output for ECU tuning and data logging
- Monitors ethanol content and fuel temperature
- Plug-and-play wiring connection under the hood
What Is Included
- FlexLink Bluetooth communication module
- Genuine GM fuel content sensor
- Vehicle-specific quick-connect fuel lines
- Plug-and-play wiring harness
- ProFlex Connect app access for Apple and Android devices
- 5-volt data input and output for tuning and data logging
Tuning Requirements
This is not a no-tune ProFlex Commander system. After installation, the Camaro’s factory flex-fuel function must be activated through the ECU by a qualified tuner.
For 2020–2023 Camaro models, confirm that your tuner can access and activate the required ECU functions. These cars have additional ECU programming security compared with earlier sixth-generation models.
Emissions Information
The FlexLink system does not remove or replace emissions equipment. It measures the ethanol content in the fuel and sends that information to the factory ECU so the activated flex-fuel calibration can adjust for gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two.
Advanced Fuel Dynamics does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for this kit. California emissions compliance will also depend on the vehicle, ECU calibration and approval status of the complete setup.
Before You Buy
- ECU activation and calibration are required after installation.
- Have your tuner confirm ECU access for 2020–2023 Camaro models.
- This kit measures ethanol content but does not increase fuel pump or injector capacity.
- Fuel pump and injector requirements will depend on the engine setup, modifications and intended power level.
Pairs Well With
- AWE Exhaust for Chevy Camaro SS / LT1 / ZL1 6.2L – Give your sixth-gen V8 Camaro a deeper exhaust note with Track and Touring options for naturally aspirated and supercharged models.
- K&N Cold Air Intake for Chevy Camaro SS 6.2L – Add more airflow and intake sound to an LT1-powered Camaro SS while building around the additional power available from E85.
- CSF Auxiliary Radiator for Chevy Camaro LT1 / SS / ZL1 – Upgrade the Camaro’s cooling system for a modified street car or a build that regularly sees hard driving and track time.
About Advanced Fuel Dynamics
Advanced Fuel Dynamics builds flex-fuel systems around the actual ethanol content in the tank instead of assuming every pump marked E85 has the same blend. Its FlexLink system gives the factory ECU and the driver real-time ethanol information, making it easier to run gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two with the proper calibration.
