Advanced Fuel Dynamics FlexLink for Cadillac CTS-V V3 LT4 6.2L Supercharged (16-19) E85 Flex Fuel System

Run gasoline, E85 or any mix of the two without having to switch maps. The Advanced Fuel Dynamics FlexLink reads the actual ethanol content in your Gen 3 CTS-V and sends that information to the factory ECU. Once the factory flex-fuel mapping is activated, the ECU can adjust around whatever blend is in the tank.

This is especially useful with pump E85 because the actual ethanol percentage changes by station and time of year. Instead of building the car around one assumed fuel blend, the FlexLink lets the ECU work from the ethanol content the sensor is actually reading. Advanced Fuel Dynamics reports typical gains of around 9-10% at the wheels on forced-induction applications when running E85, though the final result will depend on the car, fuel and calibration.

Fitment Information

• Cadillac CTS-V V3 Sedan 6.2L Supercharged LT4 V8 (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019)
• Third-generation Cadillac CTS-V only

This kit does not fit the standard Cadillac CTS, CTS V-Sport or earlier CTS-V generations.

Features

• True adaptive flex-fuel operation after ECU activation
• Run gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two
• Works with the flex-fuel mapping already present in the factory GM ECU
• Reads ethanol content in real time with a 30-millisecond refresh rate
• Displays current ethanol content through the ProFlex Connect smartphone app
• 5V input and output for data logging and custom tuning
• Model-specific quick-connect fuel lines
• Plug-and-play wiring harness connects to an existing underhood power source

What's Included

• FlexLink BT wireless communication module
• Genuine GM ethanol content sensor
• Model-specific OE-quality quick-connect fuel lines
• Plug-and-play wiring harness
• 5V data input and output
• ProFlex Connect app support for Apple and Android devices

Before You Buy

• The factory flex-fuel mapping must be activated after the FlexLink is installed.
• A local tuning shop can activate the system through the factory ECU. This is not a complete plug-in-and-add-E85 installation.
• An HP Tuners interface, vehicle credits and tuning service are not included.
• Advanced Fuel Dynamics says the factory fuel system has been tested for full E85 on the supported vehicle in stock form.
• If your CTS-V has a smaller supercharger pulley, ported blower, cam, upgraded supercharger or other power adders, have your tuner confirm that the injectors and fuel system still have enough capacity for the ethanol blend and power level.
• Do not add E85 until the FlexLink is installed and the factory flex-fuel mapping has been activated.

Emissions Information

The FlexLink does not remove or replace catalytic converters or other emissions equipment. It adds ethanol-content sensing and uses the flex-fuel mapping already present in the factory ECU so the engine can run gasoline, E85 or any mixture of the two.

Advanced Fuel Dynamics does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for this kit. Redline360 cannot ship non-CARB-compliant products to California for use on pollution-controlled vehicles.

Pairs Well With

• Airaid Cold Air Intake for 2016-2019 Cadillac CTS-V 6.2L – Adds more airflow and louder supercharger sound to the LT4. If you’re installing the intake and FlexLink around the same time, have the tuner account for both during the ECU setup.
• CSF Auxiliary Radiator for 2016-2019 Cadillac CTS-V – More power usually means dealing with more heat. The CSF auxiliary radiator adds cooling capacity and makes the most sense on a CTS-V that sees repeated pulls, track use or hot-weather driving.
• EOS Valved Axle-Back Exhaust for 2016-2019 Cadillac CTS-V – Gives the LT4 a deeper and louder exhaust sound while retaining valve control. It connects to the factory exhaust and does not remove the catalytic converters.

About Advanced Fuel Dynamics

Advanced Fuel Dynamics started after its founder kept seeing E85 tunes miss the mark because the ethanol content at the pump was never consistent. Their flex-fuel systems measure what is actually in the tank, giving the ECU the information it needs to adjust for gasoline, E85 or anything between the two. AFD develops and tests its systems on the street, track and dyno from its facility in Salado, Texas.

Redline360 only sells genuine and authentic Advanced Fuel Dynamics products.
