Fitment Note: This kit fits the 6th generation Toyota 4Runner equipped with the 2.4L turbo engine, covering both standard gas and i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrains across SR5 through Platinum trim levels. TRD Pro and Trailhunter trims require a separate tune after this intake is installed, while all other trims do not require any tuning.

This intake debuts our patent-pending QuickSnap Lid. Using high-strength magnets, this connection eliminates the need for traditional hardware. You will never have to worry about screws vibrating loose or getting lost during routine maintenance; lid removal is now a literal snap.

One thing worth knowing before you order: if your 4Runner is a TRD Pro or Trailhunter, plan for a separate tune after this intake goes on, every other trim runs without any tuning needed and won't trigger a check engine light. Installation itself is straightforward with basic hand tools, but if you're not especially comfortable wrenching, budget more time than you'd expect, getting everything lined up and routed cleanly around factory wiring and hardware is where most of the install time actually goes. Once it's in, expect a genuinely different driving character. The turbo whistle and blow-off flutter become noticeably more present under boost while staying quiet at a steady cruise, so if you've been wanting your 4Runner to sound and feel more alive without going overboard, this is built around exactly that balance.
