Product Description
NYTOP rear recovery points give the 2022-2026 Toyota Tundra a dedicated place to attach 3/4-inch D-rings or soft shackles for off-road recovery. The pair mounts directly to the factory rear tow-hitch receiver locations, so there is no cutting, welding, or drilling into the truck.
Each point is TIG welded from 5/8-inch high-strength steel and has a 13,000-pound working load limit. They are built for Tundra owners who want proper rear recovery options for trail use, overland trips, or a truck that regularly leaves the pavement.
Using Rear Recovery Points on Your Tundra
These points are for recovery gear, not just for looks. Use recovery-rated D-rings or soft shackles, and follow the working load limit for each point. NYTOP recommends using a bridle when recovering the truck off-road so the load is shared between both sides.
The points can also be used as alternate trailer safety-chain anchor points. Longer chains may be needed, and the chains should still cross underneath the hitch and coupler with enough slack for turns.
