The rear shock mounts on the LX600 and LX700h sit low enough that they're a real target for rock strikes on trail use. At only 7 lbs for the pair, these add meaningful protection without noticeable added weight, and since you don't have to touch the shock itself during install, it's a straightforward job. Made to order, so plan around the 8 to 14 week lead time before you need them.
