Hear more turbo and intake sound from your Malibu 2.0T with this short ram intake from Rtunes Racing. The kit replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a mandrel-bent intake pipe and open high-flow filter, giving the 2.0L turbo engine a more noticeable sound when you get into the throttle.
The less restrictive intake path is designed to increase airflow and sharpen throttle response without requiring a tune. It comes with the filter, hoses, reducers and mounting hardware needed for installation, with several pipe finishes and filter colors available to match the rest of your engine bay.

Fitment Notes
- Fits U.S.-market Chevrolet Malibu models equipped with the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine.
- Does not fit the 1.5L turbocharged engine.
- Does not fit the 1.8L hybrid model.
- Check the engine listed for your Malibu before ordering because the 2.0L turbo was not offered on every trim.

Intake Sound
The open filter makes the turbo and intake much easier to hear than they are with the factory airbox. Expect a deeper intake sound when accelerating along with more noticeable turbo spool when you get into boost. During normal cruising, the difference will be much less noticeable.
Installation
Installation normally takes around 30 to 60 minutes with basic hand tools. The factory airbox and intake tubing are removed, then the Rtunes pipe, filter, hoses and mounting hardware are installed in their place. Check every clamp and vacuum connection before starting the engine.
Emissions Notice
Rtunes Racing does not publish a CARB Executive Order number for this intake. Check your state and local emissions requirements before ordering or installing it on a street-driven vehicle.
