Fitment Note: This kit fits all 2nd generation Toyota 4Runner models from 1990 through 1995, covering both 2WD and 4WD configurations. The 2nd gen 4Runner uses a solid front axle and a solid rear axle, and these trailing arms locate the rear axle. If you are also lifting this truck, the adjustable track bar add-on in the dropdown is strongly recommended alongside these arms, since lifting a solid axle vehicle also shifts the axle laterally and an unaddressed track bar length will cause the axle to sit off-center, which creates dog tracking, brake pull, and in more extreme cases, death wobble. Use silicone-based grease with PTFE additives when lubricating the polyurethane bushings, do not use petroleum-based grease as it will degrade the bushing material. Sold as a pair of 2 trailing arms. Factory hardware is reused, an optional metric 10.9 upgrade hardware kit is available in the dropdown.

The factory trailing arms on a 2nd gen 4Runner are fixed length, which works fine at stock height. The moment you start lifting the truck, those arms hold the rear axle at an angle that changes your pinion angle and throws off the geometry the factory u-joints were designed to handle.
